The ModBook is a Mac tablet computer solution with these features:
• Write and draw directly on screen!
• True pen & handwriting recognition
• Built in iSight Camera
• Integrated CD/DVD combo drive
• The ONLY Mac solution with an optional built-in Global Positioning System
• Aircraft grade magnesium alloy for all terrain use

And you really think Apple legal is going to let this thing come to market? Only way I see it possible if it is a peripheral that connects an existing Mac. Apple would squash any clone and the tablet market is so small.

Does it have any connectivity capability? What kind of antenna provision is there for the GPS? Don't get me wrong, I think having a MacTablet would be great, I just don't see it on a boat...There have been PC tablets available for quite some time, but I've never seen one on a boat, except for round the buoys racers...
