CM93 is not a format that MacENC recognizes. I think OpenCPN supports CM93.

opencpn does support CM93. Really well under linux, OK under windoze, but I've never managed to get it to open them on a mac

Are there plans to introduce this in an update? This would be a massive win, it's the one thing making me keep a dual boot windows installation.....and it's proven possible now OpenCPN has it!

Yes I know, and that's my point. The coding must be possible (and actually available as OpenCPN is open source).

But if OpenCPN is licensed under the GNU project it can't be used in commercial software, right?
OTOH if it is only OpenSource, i hope it will find its way into MacENC.
