yesterday i bought a license to give polar navy a try on my sailing boat in croatia/adriatic sea.

many things work fine, some don't.

BUT what is really a problem, is that my boat position on all charts i have (maptech and official croatian BSB charts) is offset by about 0.22 nm to the east. This makes it useless for real navigation.

The charts work fine with GPSnavX and the image download (nice idea!) shows the boat at the right position (gmap).

So I think this may be a problem with the right datum of the chart. Is there a way to adjust this?

Any other suggestions?

Please contact me directly by email (using email address as listed on contact page of www.polarnavy.com). Include the BSB chart which you are having a problem with and I will see what's going on.

P.S. Generally email inquiries get much faster response (usually within an hour, and definitely under 24 hours) than posts on a forum, since I check it periodically but not every day.

A new maintenance release of PolarView NS (1.4.72) is out now and, among other things, it addresses this issue as well.
