Hi all,

I am looking for some beta testers (~5) for a piece of kit I have developed.

It is called the econav. It's a NMEA multiplexer with a GPS routing engine built-in. This allows you to suspend your computer, while the econav (having received the RMB sentences from the computer, and still receiving RMC sentences from the GPS) can carry on and direct you to your waypoint. As soon as you reach it (or steer off course), the computer will be woken up over USB, so it can take over again.

Additional features:
- automatic prioritization (e.g., for backup GPS)
- wakeup on AIS proximity
- Seatalk conversion
- no driver needed (uses USB CDC/ACM emulation)

I would like to give away 5 of these units, in the hope to get some feedback.
Please reply to this topic if you're interested, add some info about your setup as well!

Cheers,

Ard.
Hello,
If you are still looking for beta testers for your gear I might be interested. Can you send it abroad? I'm in Europe.
