Have does the calculation of TW in the latest version differ from how it was calculating it?
iNavX 3.5.8 is the first version to compute TWS and TWA (If TWS and TWA are not provided by the NMEA data). So there is no difference because TWS and TWA were never computed prior to iNavX 3.5.8
