When a route is shown on the displayed chart, the yellow box at each waypoint SHOULD ALSO SHOW THE BEARING & DISTANCE TO THE NEXT WPT. It you just want to see the WPT name, you should be able to uncheck the "Show Selected" in the Routes menu & the bearing & distance info. should dissappear. This is standard proceedure in any charting class. Just showing rhumb lines without this info. is considered not very good chartwork.

Good idea. Although I wonder if it would add too much clutter to the chart. The same info (Bearing and distance to each waypoint) is shown in the Routes window.

There wouldn't be any "clutter" if you choose not to have the Route window displayed. There ought to at least be an OPTION to do this.
