Anyone who have succeeded to connect a Garmin GPS60 (USB) with GPSNavX or Macos X, if it is at all possible?

Any drivers, any clues, any whatever?
Unfortunately Garmin has zero interest in supporting Mac and does not provide an OS X driver for their USB cable. As such one has to use the Garmin PC interface cable...

And a Keyspan USB to serial adapter...

With these cables GPSNavX supports receiving and transmitting all the data (position, waypoints, tracks, routes, satellites, etc.) that the Garmin GPS offers.
Today I bought a Garmin GPS60 (the simplest and cheapest one) and did a quick search on the Internet and found MacGPSBabel. It can by the way be downloaded at http://www.gpsbabel.org/

Maybe you guys at GPSNavX should try to work together with the people at the MacGPSBabel (and the other OS) and implement their driver to be able to reach the Garmin GPS equipped with both USB and serial? It would be great if it would work with your software!

At this time not everything is working with this driver, but it's at least recognizable by the MacOS X. 8)
I am taking the initiative and writing to Garmin to ask them to help the mac people connect via USB but I am wondering if there is any hel to be gotten from the GPS babel guys. They seem like nice geekiy Unix types.
