How about allowing the tracking to be continuous when the iphone display powers off? I know I can set the display never to turn off, but this uses more power. GPS Kit App has a nice low power mode as well. At the moment I end up with a new track every time the phone goes off.

With iNavX v2.0.X, a new track segment (i.e a break between track) plotted on the chart will only occur if there is more than 1nm of distance between track points. iNavX continues to record track points when the display is turned off, but not when iNavX is exited.

Sounds good to me, but on my iphone it definitely segmented a track recently, maybe because my iphone was checking for email every few minutes?
