South China Sea EAHC ENC added - Jim Innes - June 25, 2007 South China Sea EAHC ENC added - GPSNavX - January 2, 2008 The next release of MacENC (5.60) includes the same department of defense mercator projection base world chart that GPSNavX has. It is a 1:17M scale chart. It is very useful when you are using 'Overview' zoom scales in MacENC. For example to see GRIB weather data or doing long range planning. Accuracy with this very small scale chart is +/- about 5 nautical miles. The base world chart can be toggled on/off in the MacENC 'View' menu.
