If it works it's certainly a simple way to download and view weather fax HF broadcasts of you're out of Internet range.

Well, found they have a bunch of other HF radio tools for the iPad etc, including Navtex:

I've used Blackcat stuff on my Macs in the past with success, so I'm hopeful,

I would like to see a sat phone interface brought to iPad. Certainly a custom 30 pin adapter could be made.
