just new on Macenc
in the specification it is wrinting AIS and Radar

Do this software can display overlay radar on the map

MacENC can plot the tracked RADAR targets and cursor on the MacENC marine chart. Any RADAR that supports NMEA-0183 output will work.

This subject has been discussed before here..

You can see exactly what RADAR looks like using the "Simulator" on the "GPS" menu in MacENC. You will see a tracked target and a cursor.

Has anyone out there actually purchased a radar receiver/antenna and hooked it up to their MacENC program (on MacBook perhaps)? If so, what specific gear did you purchase/use to do this?
