What data does GPSNavX/MacENC show with AIS receivers? - cyberhusky - August 12, 2006 Hi, I would like to know what data GPSNavX does show when receiving AIS data? From this image I see that all relevant data is there: ![]() But other applications on other system do also show the size and the status (high speed boat etc) of the vessel as seen on this image. ![]() (the whole article can be found here: http://www.panbo.com/yae/archives/001350.html) So will GPSNavX (MacENC) show this data too? And my last question: AIS will soon support weather data and other important data like floating objects and in the future replace NavTex. Will our beloved application support this as well? Thx.
