I've just wrote a script, which automatically saves attached grib and opens it in MacENC, so that you don't need to check for mails and browse for a saved file.
Gribs are saved on desktop to the folder GRIBs. You need to configure your Mail app:
1. to check for mail every 5 minutes
2. to run this script upon receiving mail from gribs sender (or every mail)
When you configure everything, you just need to request a grib in MacENC menu and continue to navigate. The requested weather data will appear on your screen upon receiving.

I know you posted this quite a time ago. Threfore the attachment is no longer available. But I am still interested in downloading it.
