- gregorybross - August 3, 2013 Can anyone tell me the most cost effective way to connect a Standard Horizon GX2150 to GPS? I use an ipad running iNavX as my chartplotter. Can the GX2150 be connected to this or is there a GPS antenna such as the Garmin 18xLVC that can be directly connected to the GX2150? Thanks, Greg - vov - August 12, 2013 It's can't be direct connect to iPad Cheapest way (if You don't have plotter onboard) - install any GPS NMEA Receiver. One of the cheapest in Marine Case - EverMore SA320, You can find a lot new on eBay. Any other NMEA GPS also work. This is not the best way, but cheapest and worked. But - if You want saw AIS Target on You iPad - You need one of NMEA to WiFi device, like DigitalYacht or ShipModule regards. |
