Can anyone tell me the most cost effective way to connect a Standard Horizon GX2150 to GPS? I use an ipad running iNavX as my chartplotter. Can the GX2150 be connected to this or is there a GPS antenna such as the Garmin 18xLVC that can be directly connected to the GX2150?
Thanks,
Greg

It's can't be direct connect to iPad

Cheapest way (if You don't have plotter onboard) - install any GPS NMEA Receiver.

One of the cheapest in Marine Case - EverMore SA320, You can find a lot new on eBay.

Any other NMEA GPS also work.

This is not the best way, but cheapest and worked.

But - if You want saw AIS Target on You iPad - You need one of NMEA to WiFi device, like DigitalYacht or ShipModule
