This time last year Garmin was promising all sorts of OSX support. Oh well.... maybe this year grin....

Apart from Garmin having a somewhat convenient, all in one packaging, they are still offering a lot of 12 channel GPS technology when really inexpensive 20 channel GPS technology is available from USGlobalSat.

Other than being able to upload expensive proprietary maps to a Garmin GPS, what OS X support are you looking from them? Their Mapsource application is not a replacement for a navigation application. The latest version will not even plot the current position on the chart or map.
