BoatLog is free of charge to members of this forum and users of MacENCâ„¢ or GPSNavX. To those of you who want to try BoatLog, you can obtain a free trial version of Bentoâ„¢ at this site: http://www.bentotrial.com/trial/form/entry.aspx?ovmkt=10EE81C8ED6B491AB2739127FD129BFE&WT.mc_id=10EE81C8ED6B491AB2739127FD129BFE - cyberhusky - February 24, 2008 Thx Jon. BoatLog is just great and has many more features than I need. The new international version of Bento, now completely eliminates the need for converting CSV files. Everything is imported as it should be! Thx again. Great work. Regards, Manou - Jade - March 27, 2008 BoatLog (v1.1) is available to download now. Use the same links as posted above. Version 1.1 adds ADIF 2 support for the radio log and several minor enhancements. The file (224KB) can be downloaded here: https://secure.filesanywhere.com/v.asp?v=%89ik%87%5Beo%B2k%9A This update (v1.1) corrects a problem encountered when exporting Comments containing commas or semi-colons from the Radio Log. - arne.kraus - April 10, 2008 Hi! Where can I download BoatLog? Arne - Jade - April 10, 2008 Hi Arne, In the first message of this topic (see above) there are 4 links. If you want BoatLog and the documentation in Powerpoint, click on the link for "Powerpoint users:". If you use Keynote instead, click on the link for "Keynote users:" These links will automatically direct you to a download site. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the BoatLog package that includes both the database and documentation kit. If you have any questions, please send me a private message (using MY FUSION at the top left of this forum). I will be glad to help. - frdmfghtr - January 1, 2010 Hi all, I apologize for reviving a old thread, but the links above do not seem to work anymore. Are there updated links to BoatLog and the documentation? I plan on using BoatLog, provided it serves my needs, in conjunction with MacENC. Thanks! - Jade - January 2, 2010 Hi Frdmfghtr, I sent you a private message (click on the "My Fusion" button at the top left of this Forum page) with the links to download BoatLog. - Jade - January 4, 2010 To Kavabay, I have replied to your private message in the "My Fusion" section. My reply contains the requested download links. - jochen - January 25, 2010 Hi Jade, the links do not work anymore. Is there any other way to download the newest boatlog version? Jochen - Jade - January 25, 2010 Hi Jochen, The current version of BoatLog is 1.1. I sent you a private message (see under the My Fusion button above left) with the requested links. Jon - Capt.Rich - February 19, 2010 I can't seem to get in. I have bento and would like to get Boatlog. I've wanted this for years. Capt.Rich - Jade - February 19, 2010 Capt.Rich, I sent you the requested links in a private message (click the My Fusion button at the top left of this forum). Thanks - sailbubbles - March 13, 2010 am brand new member and tried to get boatlog but all links are not working. where can i get it thanks - Jade - March 13, 2010 Sailbubbles, Hello and welcome to the forum. Please check your private messages for the link that you requested (click "MY FUSION" at the top left). - jagasail - March 13, 2010 Out of curiosity, why don't you post the link? - Jade - March 13, 2010 There are several reasons: BoatLogix is a newer, more complete version based on FileMaker Pro instead of Bento. Those requesting the link are given the option to download and try both. BoatLog was developed using version 1 of Bentoâ„¢. Although it still runs under the current version 3, some of the field sizes have changed and must be readjusted. By distributing this way, I can make sure that those requesting the link are aware of this. BoatLog is offered free to members of this forum. I found that a few non-members were taking advantage of the open links. Some of the concepts that were unique to BoatLog began appearing in competitive packages. - Jim Innes - March 13, 2010 Hi Jon, I'd like to test drive BoatLogix... Jon - mrfugu - March 30, 2010 1st off, Great use for Bento, many thanks for the initial design. For my use, I've added custom Checklists for common boating tasks in need of precision (engine/genny checks, haulout/winterize, etc.) and am working on applescripting bento with MacENC for automatic instrument/gps input to log entries. 2nd, check out the bento for ipad: http://appadvice.com/appnn/2010/03/bento-ipad-launch-screenshots/ cheers |
