Quite a concept, a circle of possible error. What with chart datum errors and survey plotting errors on the paper charts before they were digitized, you face a pretty complex situation.

Any chance, after the iPhone excitement subsides a tad, of this making it onto your to-do list?

out of interest, wonder what peoples prefered digital charts are, vector or raster, not so much in terms of zoomability etc but more in terms of general accuracy and readability

For me, I've a dedicated plotter with a C-map mega wide cartridge in it and now GPSNavX working along side with maptech's raster admiralty charts.

have to say I do think I prefer the raster charts overall
