- ReeferJon - August 4, 2008 Wow! The feedback on the App Store looks amazing. Can't wait to try it in anger! Can iNavX stream charts from MacENC, or do we need to wait for the international version? When will the UK be supported? Please release soon!! - cyberhusky - August 5, 2008 How can you see iNavX on Appstore in the UK? Here in Luxembourg I always get the message application not available. - ReeferJon - August 5, 2008 I have separate US and UK accounts. - GPSNavX - August 5, 2008 iTunes lets you change the store (at the bottom of the home page). - GPSNavX - August 5, 2008 It should also be noted, iNavX includes a basic world chart and the instruments and waypoints functionality works regardless of the chart availability for a given location. Think Garmin handheld with a base world chart. - cyberhusky - August 6, 2008 Unfortunately I have to wait for the international version, itunes won't let me create an US account! Isn't it possible to have a version for accessing BSB charts one has already the laptop, via a sync function? Pocketpedia does this with Bookpedia and MobileFamilyTree does it with FamilyTree on my iMac! They both sync their data via Wifi. Just an idea. Regards Manou - guybeckett - September 22, 2008 I am also definitely in the queue for the UK version. - jagasail - September 22, 2008 cyberhusky Wrote:Unfortunately I have to wait for the international version, itunes won't let me create an US account! Unfortunately itunes reads the ip address you're logged to, and if it's a foreign number you can only do what's allowed within that country. When visiting in Canada I can't download itunes TV episodes I've subscribed to while in the US - have to go back into the US to download them. The fact that I 'bought' them while in the US is apparently irrelevant. I've noticed that several of the 'media' sites are like that (i.e. abc.com, nbc etc). |
