iNavX in the iTunes iPhone App Store
(United States and Canada Only)

Changes include:

Smaller Memory foot print.

"Remove Tracks" on the main menu will erase the stored track history.

double-tapping on the position icon will originate and track the bearing / distance measurement on the current position.

The "Tides" Tab bar button will launch AyeTides using the current position as the origin for the station list.

Improved calculation of SOG and COG.

Location Manager will be turned off when iNavX exits to save battery life.

When charts are first displayed, they will be zoomed out.

And AyeTides is still waiting to be approved by Apple. I'm hoping that will be Real Soon Now, but it's out of my hands (and very frustrating to not know where in the process it is!!!)

How do we update our application version? I assume it's thru the itunes site but don't find any instructions.

- GPSNavX - August 9, 2008

Go to the "Applications" section of "Library" in iTunes and press "Check for Updates". Once you get the iNavX update just resync your iPhone.

any idea if(when) apple wills tick this on the UK iTunes???

Please dont wait for an european company to share their maps via server. This will probably NEVER happen!
Just give us europeans the NMEA functionality and/or a way to load our own BSB maps via iTunes or any other app.

Cant wait for iNavX.
Thank You.

We are working with a major chart supplier to offer world wide coverage for iNavX. Ideally by years end. Stay tuned.
