ANy ideas how to install the gps driver on my dell mini 9?
GPS Navx works fine, and on my macbook pro gpsnavx and the usb work fine, but no go on the dell.
Each time I try to install the driver it goes through the process very quickly, announces "successfully installed" but on restart the bu 353 is not recognized

Have you been able to use any other USB device?
Go to "About this Mac"->"More Info"->USB what do you see?
The most likely cause is that the USB controller is not supported by OSX.

You can check if the driver is actually installed by looking in the Macintosh HD / System / Library / Extensions folder. Look for ProlificUSBSerial.kext file.
Might try unplugging the GPS, Deleting the file and try reinstalling.
