- tenmile - April 3, 2012 Hi all, I am considering adding iNavX to my iPad and wanted to integrate it with my existing NMEA2000/0183 network. Today I have the following: MercMonitor - NMEA2000/0183 gateway for engine data (allows me to put engine data for my Mercruiser engine into NMEA2000/0183 formats) Lowrance HDS-10 - Chartplotter that will input/output NMEA2000 data onto the bus. Standard Horizon 2150 - VHF with AIS Receiver that sends AIS data to the Chartplotter. If I installed the SeaSmart WiFi unit and iNavX would I be able to combine the AIS, Engine and Lowrance data (depth etc...) onto my iPad? I'm in need of a second helm station (2 helms) so this might be a lower cost, more flexible solution to install. - GPSNavX - April 3, 2012 Yes with SeaSmart WiFi you can display most NMEA 2K data including engine. SeaSmart accepts N2K data and iNavX can process that. |
