Last night I discovered how to configure inavx.web-ais.net as an NMEA client to display AIS targets on charts. However, the server appears to be down today; I can't connect via iNavX with the bookmarked configuration settings (I get a timeout), nor can I connect via a test Telnet connection. Anyone know who to ask/notify that the server is down?

SiiTech AIS server is orking for me. The key is there needs to be AIS targets (on their server) that are within 30 NM of the iDevice or a designated waypoint. Always best to bring up Safari to this page..

To check for coverage in your area of interest.

Is the coverage determined only by seeing icons on the map?

I was expecting to see more of a coverage map like the cell providers use indicating available coverage for an area of interest by using a color coded map.
