Would be great!
I love TomTom. I had it since it beginnings on my Psion Symbian Pocketcomputers.
It would perfectly fit the iPhone!

But I don't believe it:
1) Why should TomTom make the iPhone a direct concurrent of it's own TomTom ONE touchscreen device?
I know TomTom exists for other mobile phones it even runs on my Sony Ericsson P1i touchscreen phone.
But the iphone would just be the ideal device with instant responsiveness.
2) The image is troubled
3) Has Apple already delivered iPhone SDKs to 3rd party developpers?
4) Other reasons "why not" can be found here

The TomTom rumor does seem to proven just that, but here is little bit of hardware development that could prove promising:

ipod touch too - outstripp - December 15, 2007

It would be nice if the gps worked with the ipod touch too, which it probably will. Too bad it can't display Google Earf, but it does a pretty good job with Google maps.
