I am renovating the wheelhouse on my boat and want to install mounting hardware for my 17" powerbook.
I've looked at various car and truck kits. Does anybody have a recomendation regarding a durable rust proof rugged mount?
Thanks

I looked at computer desk mount and wall mount display arms. Sure they are not military grade of rust proof but so what? A spray can of corrosion block keeps it looking good.

My personal choice was based on my vertical adjustment requirement( your mileage may vary....grin...) was the wall mounted Ergotron LX.

I selected a display mount. If I wanted the laptop to be held I would have scrolled down that list and selected an LX keyboard mount.

I went with a RAM Mount (http://www.ram-mount.com/).

I started with a large RAM mount. When I saw the Ergotron LX mount in an exhibitor's booth at MacWorld Expo last month, I realized that was much better suited to my needs, so I got one.
