Looking at the demo version of MacENC, but I may be missing something obvious.

I am wanting to be able to create a series of waypoints and have them automatically generate a route as I create those waypoints; if I chose to go back and further label the WP afterwards, fine.

I haven't found a way to do this in MacENC.

I can create waypoints; but everytime I do I have to deal with a waypoint window popup. Is there a way to disable that popup window?

The only way I have been able to create a route is by creating a new route, then adding each waypoint one at a time in the Routes pane. I have not found a way to add multiple wayponts all at once.

Given all the this software package appears to be able to do, I'm hoping it's just me, because other than that, I don't see any reason to chose any of PC based apps running in emulation.

If anyone can steer me through something I'm missing here, I'd appreciate it greatly.

Regards,
Shane

Yes routes can be created right on the MacENC chart following these steps:

1) Control or right click on the MacENC chart and select "New->Route" from the context menu.

2) Minimize the Routes window.

3) Select the Waypoint move tool from the MacENC toolbar.

4) [command] double-click on the MacENC chart to create a waypoint. This new waypoint will automatically be added to the new route.

5) Minimize the Waypoints window.

6) Repeat step 4 for each of the waypoints in the route.

7) [command] double-clicking on an existing waypoint name on the MacENC chart will add it to the selected route.

Minimizing the waypoints and routes window prevents them from popping up when creating new routes and waypoints.

It should also be noted that waypoints can be dragged from the Waypoint window into the Routes window.
