- watermanic - November 8, 2008 Is there any way to get the Rate of Turn information that is in the AIS stream to be shown in MacENC "more info". Thanks Nic - epilot10 - January 6, 2012 Even if MacENC had this feature, there are, as of today (Jan 2012), very few ships transmitting this information, I would say 1 out of 30. Only large tankers and passenger ships have to carry a Rate of Turn indicator. Regards epilot10 - simmsdp - April 7, 2012 Hi, I have been cruising the Pacific coast of Mexico for the last 2 and a half years. Most of the ships we see are Cruise ships and Pemex oil tankers along the coast from Chiapas to Cabo San Lucas. There are two main container ports but the traffic there is not as great as San Francisco. - simmsdp - April 7, 2012 Hi, I have been cruising the Pacific coast of Mexico for the last 2 and a half years.
