- CMiles - May 20, 2009 Help. I just got a text from my buddy. He's in the bay and has selected a waypoint and selected "goto" but can't get a heading. Has all other GPS data. Using GPS NavX w/ usb GPS sensor. Suggestions? - GPSNavX - May 20, 2009 The bearing and distance and ETA to an activated waypoint (i.e. "Goto" selected in the Waypoints" window) is displayed not in the GPS panel, but in the expanded GPSNavX Chart Settings panel Waypoints tab .. Screen Shot Here - CMiles - May 20, 2009 And how do you get this data to repeat to instruments. Other data is transmitting just fine. Raymarine instruments interfaced to Macbook via Keyspan and Autohelm seatalk/nmea/rs232 box. - GPSNavX - May 20, 2009 If a repeat port is selected in the GPS panel Settings drawer and a waypoint is made active then the following NMEA sentences are repeated .. $GPAPB, $GPBOD, $GPBWC, $GPRMB, $GPXTE, $GPVTG and $GPWPL It would be up to the instrumentation that is interfaced and its user configuration what data it displays from the above NMEA data sentences. |
