Is it possible to use a Nuvi 500 with MacENC? I have tried using the various settings on the GPS panel, but no luck. Ideally I would like to transfer waypoints and routes to and fro and use the Nuvi as a GPS to MacENC.

According to page 33 of the printed manual the USB connected Nuvi 500 supports GPX files. MacENC can import/export GPX files. Also see page 16.
