When I connect our Raymarine C90 to MacENC, will MacENC repeat the wind data etc or just the position?

MacENC will repeat all NMEA data received in the GPS panel to the repeat port. So if the GPS panel is receiving Wind Data it will be repeated (unless Autopilot only is checked). You can look at the GPS panel Monitor drawer to see what is received. Non GPS NMEA data (such as wind) will be printed in yellow text.

Regardless of whether I use a multiplexer or USB>Serial Convertor?

MacENC does not know how the NMEA data is coming in to the selected GPS panel port. Repeat just means blindly repeat what ever data is received in the GPS panel port to the selected repeat port.

Keep in mind, there is no repeat functionality for NMEA data that would come into a selected Instruments panel port or AIS/RADAR panel port. I assume you have "Use GPS port" selected for these panels.

Okay, I think I understand.

Will I be able to 'send' waypoints from MacENC to the Raymarine? I used to be able to do this with our Garmin/GPSnavX setup, but then when we added an AIS engine, we couldn't send them any longer.

Yes you can send Waypoints as long as your Mac has a direct connection to your GPS (i.e. not through an AIS receiver). Be sure to select type as "other" and MacENC will use the $GPWPL NMEA message to send waypoints.

Cool. Thanks.
