Title: Printing and plotted routes or tracks question
#1
Hi

I tried the TIFF save function of GPSNavX and noticed the actual whole map is saved and not just the actual displayed part.

I would appreciate if a further version would have this possibility too.

OTOH the printout of the save TIFF only prints the map without displayed tracks or routes. Is that intended or did I something wrong?

Thx

Greetings

Manou

The "SaveAs..." on the GPSNavX file menu saves the entirety of a BSB 1 - 3 chart to a TIFF file. It does not include waypoints, annotation, tracks, GRIB, position icons or routes as these are not raster data.

If you want just a portion of the chart then use the built-in OS X capture [command] [shift] [4] which will make a PDF or PNG on your desktop which you can view and print.
