My original MacBook Air has broken. I am thinking of buying a replacement.
Would you go for the basic new Air (11" screen) or a base Pro (13.3" screen)?
Or is the iPad the way forward?

We're just jealous.
I'd go for the 11" but fully loaded in memory and disk capacity. My choice is biased by the small navigation table on my boat.

Apple just released their latest MacBook Pro's. I would certainly encourage you to get one of these. I use a 15" MacBook Pro on my boat at present.

The new ones are faster than most other Macs. Amazing power in such a small package.

This might be the wrong thread, but Im wondering if anybody has checked which computer in the Mac range that uses the least amount of power. My concern is also heat since we will also sail on to the Pacific and with that comes heat and humidity.
