The app is really useful thanks.
Could you please make the velocity vector longer than 30 minutes? Infinite would be a great option for those longer offshore passages! David

I'm also planning a passage and agree. I would like to have a much longer time span, say 4 hrs. Interestingly, I was wondering how far you could project...Ditto on the request.

The limitation has more to do with the slider selection method. The longer the selection (i.e. 30 minutes versus 4 hours), the less precise the slider becomes. An easy work-around is just navigate to a waypoint far in the distance and a line from the iDevice position to the waypoint is drawn on the chart. Realize waypoints can be dragged anywhere on the chart.

Hi - could you then change the distane selection tool from slider to something else?
I understand the workaround you suggest but those of us coming from Raymarine products to iNavX are used to an 'infinite' COG vector on the chart.
Trust me, it's useful!

What I can do is make the far right selection on the slider be "infinite".
