Title: B&G or Raymarine integration.
#1
I will be replacing a windows box in an integrated system and will be switching to a Mac Mini. I would prefer to use MacENC/GPSNavX as the Nav Station plotter which will be a backup to a stand alone display at the helm. The helm units under review are the B&G Zues3 and the Raymarine Es units. The Mac Mini/MacENC unit becomes the route planning unit as well.

In the past I have had troubled using Raymarine GPS units and integrating their GPS signals in to the Mac ENC program.

Does that issue still exist with the newer Raymarine units? Any better integration with one unit or the other?

I will be installing another radar head to integrate with whichever helm plotter we decide on. Any better integration with MacENC with the Raymarine or the B&G.
