Title: B&G or Raymarine integration.
#4
Sure, I have 2 GPS units. The primary is internal to the e7D and the backup is a Furuno GP32. The primary is fairly accurate and reliable even below deck. I can choose which one of the two that I want to use from the Lighthouse software settings in the e7D. MacENC reads the GPS position provided by the e7D. I would recommend that you connect your GPS to the MFD and not to the Mac Mini.

I guess you are aware that Raymarine has announced a new product line, Axiom!with a new software version of Lighthouse. I don't know if this new software will be retrofitted to the e series.

I'm sorry not to have more knowledge of the B&G units. I have heard good things about them.
