Check this page for connecting a GPS to GPSNavX
http://www.gpsnavx.com/help/connectinggps.htm
There's a link for connecting a BT GPS to the Mac
http://www.gpsnavx.com/pdf/TN-206OSX.pdf
Though it doesn't specify a Holux GPS but it should work the same way!
Sometimes you are asked a code which is most times either 0000 (4x Zero) or 1234. Check you Holux manual.
In GPSNavX /MacENC select
GPS -> Connect
Click on Settings: in TYPE select OTHER
in PORT select something /dev/cu.BT-GPS-XXXXX
(this one depends on what BT GPS you have connected)
in RATE select 4800 baud
Be sure to have your BT-GPS switched on, or the BT port isn't shown sometimes.
A friend of mine had a HOLUX GPS connected to GPSNavX without a problem.
