Both GPSNavX and MacENC will continue to be improved and supported. We have a large customer base for both applications. MacENC offers a super set of GPSNavX functionality at a different much higher price point. GPSNavX is offered as our entry level product, but still very powerful. We offer an easy upgrade path from GPSNavX to MacENC. MacENC requires a newer Mac (i.e. Intel Core Duo processor) where GPSNavX will run on an old slow (G3 processor) Mac.
So bottom line is both applications fill a need. Neither are going away. As a MacENC user, not sure why GPSNavX would irritate someone.
