So is there no way to "register" the BSB charts that are available on Jim Innes' server? I have tried copying the files onto a CD and DVD but the Register app still does not recognize the files.

That's interesting. None of the BSB's I downloaded from Jim's site needed registration. What charts are you trying to load? Did you try viewing them without trying to register?

I don't know what the source of the latest charts are, but I think the early ones Jim and other's uploaded were either the older Maptech BSBs, or Softchart BSBsI don't recall needing registration. When I lost my Mac I know I didn't have any problem with those.
