Other than USB GPS, all GPS must connect via Keyspan USB to serial adapter or a Shipmodul Multiplexor. Most GPS manufacturers offer a PC interface cable. Most terminate with a standard DB-9 connector which will connect to the Keyspan adapter. If not then a DB-9 can be attached to the power/data cable. Pins 2,3 and 5 should be connected to the GPS transmit, receive and ground respectively. A Shipmodule multiplexor can be used with the bare wires.
GPSNavX supports transfer of waypoints, routes and tracks from Garmin, Magellan, Furuno other any other GPS that supports the $GPWPL and $GPRTE NMEA message.
