Thanks for that. Turning off GoTo let me delete the dud waypoint, as you suggested.
I experimented with the different formats. You are right, DMM and DMS give much more precision. DMS seems to give the most, letting me adjust location within the length of the boat. It will be interesting to compare next time I'm aboard, to see how close I got using Google Maps and a guess as to which boat/mooring might be ours...
More precision with DD would be useful, given that Google Maps seems to use this (or is it possible to change this in a preferences setting somewhere?).
One more request, if it's just the way I'm doing things. Changing the units means I had to go all the way out to iNavX, to Setup, then come back, reload the map to get to Waypoints. Is there a quicker way of doing this -- although I am only talking of a few seconds to do this? But I was jumping around a bit, experimenting with the different positioning options.
