Title: Anchor Alarm iNavX
#1
When I put the iPad to "sleep" will the anchor alarm continue to work? Is it annoyingly loud enough to wake? (Subjective of course but it needs to be more than a chime.)

Anyone out there used this as an anchor alarm? How about any of those other anchor alarm apps?

I'm a long time satisfied Raymarine/MacENC/X-Traverse user but still looking for a decent anchor alarm which won't run my battery down.

There is no sleep function on an iPad (yet). There is a screen lock which shuts off the display. When the iPad screen is locked, the app in use continues to run. Testing has shown about 7 hours of use on a fully charged iPad.

iNavX, MacENC and GPSNavX all use this sound for the anchor alarm ..

The volume on the iPad can be quite loud.
