Title: gpx 2 c-map waypoints
#1
No one else seems to have done this, so I created a very crude app that converts four-line gpx waypoints to c-map xml files.

The error checking is minimal and I'm not sure it really works, but take a look...

Frustrating that the [dedicated chart plotter] marine navigation manufacturers insists on re-inventing the wheel with their own proprietary data formats. Both GPX and KML are well documented and free to use by all.

I have confirmed that the resulting xml file does upload to C-Map PC-Planner. I wanted to be sure of that before cleaning it up. My translator still needs some tweaking: number formats, icons and colors, etc. not handled right yet.

I think it's working right now. Your file must be named xxxxx.UP.xml to be recognized by PC Planner.
