Title: GPSNAVX and Salling Clicker?
#1
Just installed a Mac Mini on my Sabre 34. All systems are up and running including GPSNAVX,NMEA data through a Shipmodul Multiplexer, iTunes, DVD player, etc.

I have Salling Clicker running on the mini and my Sony Ericsson P910i. This allows me to have complete control over iTunes, DVD Player, iPhoto and others from anywhere on the boat. The iTunes control is awesome! It even pauses iTunes when the phone rings and resumes when you hang up.

Now, I'm wondering how hard it would be for someone to write scripts for GPSnavX. This would be a great feature - hand-held instrument repeater, small chart on the phone, etc.

Any programmers out there?

Richard.

Sounds like a great system. GPSNavX has quite a bit of scripting support. Normal menu commands can be scripted as will as a bunch of additional data as described here..
