Title: SailingNetworks.com - Social Network for Sailors
#1
I was doing some research for my yacht club's new web site (the Little Ship Club in London) and stumbled across SailingNetworks.com.

This is a really cool social networking site for sailors, that integrates with Facebook, as well as providing loads of cool boating-specific feature such as:
  • [li]Skippers & Crews Opportunities[/li]li]Blogging[/li][li]Yacht profile[/li][li]Log book[/li][li]Yacht Clubs[/li][li]Crew Management[/li]
I've joined and created a group for MacSailing.net members. Check up my profile here . It's one of the best sailing sites I've come across in a while.

Hi Jon!

Thanks for the tip, I just registered for the site. It has a nice crew management app. For blogging or keeping a log book, I would recommend TripSailor.com (http://www.tripsailor.com). That site offers all features to share your offshore live online and does also does a nice job in helping you to plan your next sailing trip. Since both sites support facebook login, it would probably easy to use sailingnetworks to find your crew and TripSailor to blog about your trip even while offshore and share photos.
