Title: Problem hooking up Navman autopilot
#1
I recently bought a Navman autopilot system.
I have connected it with my mac via a Miniplex Lite (USB).

I can read the compass info send out by the navman but my navman won't recognise goto MacENC data on the in port.

I have contacted the guys at shipmodul (miniplex) but all seems to be hooked up just right. I have tried every other possible hookup as well.

Does anybody have any suggestions to solve my problem?

Tech info
Navman has 3 wire NMEA (common, in, out)

General hookup:
Nmea common + out wired to Miniplex in
Nmea in wired to Miniplex out

The Navman actuallly has one out and one in/out port.
in/out configured as in. Tried this port as out port and that works as well.

Did you check transmission speed? You may want to bring this down.
Did you activate "Repeat to" in MacENC?

Actually you want to select the port USBSerial-XXXX and rate 57,600 for the Miniplex-Lite. Select that for the repeat port.
