Title: GPSNavX waypoint import
#1
trying to import a load of waypoints from a CSV. now, I'm guessing that the co-ords format must match the prefs in the app,

so I have HDDD.MM.MMM set in the app

the numbers in the csv follow this, but I can't get it to import.

I'm wondering wether this is just Uber strict??

some of the numbers in the csv are like N55.00.616 or N55.00.98

ie just 2 digits at the end, or N55 rather than N055

is that the problem?? does that mean I'll have to edit the CSV so they all the N55 are N055 and add a spurious digit to the end so they all end .MMM???

Mark,
Does your csv document have the layout described below?

"Waypoints CSV file must be in the following format:

name,latitude,longitude,description <newline>
.......
name,latitude,longitude,description <newline>

latitude and longitude must be in the same format as the selected Position Format"

The best thing to do is email us the file you are trying to import. I don't believe the number of digits is important.

we sorted it out. The bogeys were a nimber of characters it just doesn't seem to like in the waypoint name

these were the offending ones here

"

?

removed them from the waypoint names and it went in fine
