Title: AIS Transponders
#1
Both GPSNavX and MacENC support AIS receivers and transponders. MacENC has the ability to use an AIS transponder for real-time plotting negating the need to have a separate GPS receiver interfaced. Simply select the serial port the AIS transponder is connected to in the AIS/RADAR panel Settings drawer.

I'm not sure to correctly understand : have to select the AIS transponder serial port both in GPS panel Settings drawer ?

#3
To use an AIS Transponder as the real-time navigator for MacENC, only select its port in the AIS/RADAR panel Settings drawer. Rate should be 38400.
