Any plans to incorporate a Tidetech viewer into MacENC?

Aside from the facts that their viewer is Windows based and a subscription for their GRIB data costs alot, it looks nice.

"Tidetech presents its data in GRIB format which is compatible with the following navigation software:
• Expedition
• Maxsea
• Adrena
• Deckman (current only). "

MacENC can display current from a GRIB file. Have not had tide data inside a GRIB file before.

Turns out TideTech is using a less popular GRIB2 format. So the answer appears to be no. It's on my lengthy todo list to support GRIB2.

Cool.
The winner of the recent Sydney-Hobart used Tidetech so I'm keen to have a go.

p.s. I have a feeling that the iPad could be about to give Mac marine nav a huge boost.

Hi guys, Technical team from Tidetech here. Most of our data is in Grib1 format, except the Baltic and German Bight tides. I'm sorry to say we don't have a Mac to test our stuff in your software, but would be very happy to supply files for you to test.
An idea might be that we could work with you to integrate Tidetech with GPSNavX. It's as simple as a drop down list with areas, which then sends an http request to our server to authenticate and retrieve the file.
FYI we've got some cool new stuff coming - Hi res (100m resolution) Solent / UK S Coast and San Francisco tides, Global current forecasts and Hi res Sea Temp for the US and Gulfstream.

Both GPSNavX and MacENC can open & display GRIB1 files with temperature, wave height/direction, wind direction/speed, pressure and precipitation.

Has anyone had any success using Tidetech with GPSNavX or MacENC?

No, but I am using their PDF generator on the iPad.
