Title: Garmin inching towards Mac OSX support at MacWorld Expo 2007

This time last year Garmin was promising all sorts of OSX support. Oh well.... maybe this year grin....

Apart from Garmin having a somewhat convenient, all in one packaging, they are still offering a lot of 12 channel GPS technology when really inexpensive 20 channel GPS technology is available from USGlobalSat.

Other than being able to upload expensive proprietary maps to a Garmin GPS, what OS X support are you looking from them? Their Mapsource application is not a replacement for a navigation application. The latest version will not even plot the current position on the chart or map.
