Title: Making your own charts?
#1
I am thinking of running GPSNAVX on my mac mini system on board here in Holland.
Is there any way you can make your own charts from photoshop documents and calibrate them or convert DKW2 type raster charts?

Coastal waters are no problem since they are widely available in BSB. Dutch inland waters are, as far as I know, only available in paper or DKW2 format which, as far as I know, isn't supported by GPSNAVX.

Is there a work around?

Magic Instinct Software (France) has developed a free utility that will create BSB charts from other raster formats. My preference is to use professionally calibrated marine charts, but here is the link for those who wish to make their own charts.
