I too am disappointed that we now have 2 different apps. However, given the difficulty of implimenting 2 differrent rendering engines, I can understand the difference. What I do find vexing is that on some level I view this application (even though the name has been changed) as GPSNavX version 4.0.
As such I am curious as to whether or not there will be an upgrade path for current GPSNavX owners. At the very least I would like there to be a download version that was software only for those of us who are willing to go and get the charts from NOAA on our own...
Not for nothing, but it would be nice if the loyal customers who have paid for the old app would get some kind of thank you for their financial support and for submitting suggestions that (hopefully) are helpful to the developers.
